About The 46 Club
The 46 Club is a welcoming social club in Uxbridge, offering a friendly atmosphere, live entertainment, and a great selection of drinks for our members and guests. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Bar Staff to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve drinks efficiently and professionally, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area.
- Follow all licensing laws and health & safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar when required.

- Bar Operations Management – Oversee the daily running of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Stock Control & Ordering – Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times.
- Cellar Management – Maintain and rotate stock, take deliveries, change barrels, and ensure correct storage of beverages.
- Staff Supervision – Manage bar staff, including working within existing scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
- Customer Service – Ensure a welcoming atmosphere, high standards of service, and resolve customer issues professionally.
- Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure all licensing laws, hygiene, and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Event Support – Assist in organizing and running club events, ensuring seamless bar service.
- Cash Handling & Till Management – Oversee cash flow, reconcile tills, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a bar management or supervisory role.
- Experience managing staff, including scheduling, training, and performance oversight.
- Cellar management knowledge, including changing kegs and maintaining stock.
- Physically fit to handle deliveries, restocking, and cellar management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle queries and complaints professionally.
- Understanding of licensing laws, health & safety, and bar hygiene regulations.
- Experience with cash handling and till systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Personal License Holder (preferred but not essential).
- Experience running events or working in an event-based venue.
- Knowledge of local suppliers and drink trends.
